Lost and Found
Lost in the darkness
Stuck in nothing but my mind
Thinking what happened
Wishing it would be over
Knowing it will be alright
I really like this poem because its something that I can relate to. Everyone has that one really bad experience that they just want to be over. This is also really inspiring to people who think that nothing will ever get better but you give them confidence within your thoughts. I also really like how you used figurative language such as metaphors to describe your feelings. Great poem!

It makes me want to reach out a hand and pull you up because you feel hurt. I really connected with your emotions on this poem. It's really well organized and stated.

I like the detailed description as it immerses me into a dark area and makes me feel like I'm in some mystery. I also love the feelings you have in your tanka, as your emotions express this tanka very well. Overall, amazing job, Iman!
ReplyDeleteThere is a lot of emotion in your poem. It allows me to experience whatever your going through because of the language you used. Your poem expressed the idea that the only thing stopping something from getting better is your own mind and whenever your stuck, stick with what you know because what you know can be real as long as what you think, does not get in the way.
